Video streaming site niconico has teamed up with Jump J Books and Pixiv to run a fan art contest in commemoration of the release of two new Naruto light novels. The contest is easy and divided into two main categories.
In first category, contestants are asked to illustrate a character or scene that appears in the Naruto light novel series Hiden and Shinden. In second category, entitled “free illustration,” contestants can simply draw a favorite character. This contest will end on November 23.
How with the prize? Winners of the contest will have their works displayed at Shonen Jump Festa, which takes place December 19 and 20. Three winners of the free illustration section will win a Kishimoto-signed copy of the new light novels..
